Tess Hackworthy ’15 Honored as She Joins Fellow Golfing Alumnae

The Lou Warobick Junior Golf Foundation announced that it has selected Tess Hackworthy ’15 as one of the recipients of its 2015 Sportsmanship Scholarship awards. Tess, who claimed the Individual State Champion title in her senior year and now attends UW-Madison, earned the award for her volunteer contributions of time for several organizations in her community and at Edgewood High School.

The scholarships, named in memory of Wisconsin State Golf Hall of Fame honoree Lou Warobick, are meant to promote good sportsmanship in junior golf. Golf coaches, athletic departments, golf professionals, associations and other golf officials throughout Wisconsin nominate college bound high school senior boys and girls for the scholarships.

Tess will be playing on the UW-Madison Women’s Golf Team alongside fellow alumna Lexi Greytak ’13. Another EHS alumna, Katie Elliott ’04, also played for the Badgers and is now the Assistant Coach!
