EHS alumnae Ave Grosenheider ’15 (Richmond Spiders), Amy Davis ’15 (UW-Madison Badgers) and Michele Lee ’12 (UW-Madison Badgers) participated in the 2017 Armory Track Invitational held at the New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory.
Amy placed 2nd in the 3,000 meter with a time of 9:31, just behind the leader at 9:29.03 and Michele Lee was 6th at 9:38.86.
Ave ran in the 5,000 meter and finished 7th in a field of 23 with a time of 17:29.64. First place in that race went to a runner who came in at 16:31.81, far outstripping the second place runner by more than 20 seconds!
All in all, it was a pretty good weekend for Edgewood in New York.
