Author Jacquelyn Mitchard is Special Guest at the Annual Fine Arts Festival

Jacquelyn will unveil the first excerpt of her upcoming classic ghost story, Still She Haunts Me, as a Madison exclusive. Books for her to sign will be available, courtesy of A Room of One’s Own

Jacquelyn Mitchard is the number one New York Times bestselling author of 12 novels for adults, including The Deep End of the Ocean, which was the inaugural selection of the Oprah Winfrey Book Club and also made into a major feature film. The editor of a realistic young adult imprint, Merit Press, Mitchard has also authored seven novels for young adults. She is a professor of creative writing at Vermont College of Fine Arts and a contributing editor for More magazine. 

Jacquelyn will be offering two sessions for students during the day on Tuesday, offering insights on storytelling, plot and character development and writing as a career.
