Honoring Martin Luther King at the Wisconsin State Capitol

Faculty worked on service projects including creating valentines for seniors, filling bags with toiletries for distribution to those in need, knitting hats for cancer patients, and and tying blankets for those who needed protection from the cold.

Edgewood High School Administration, Faculty and Staff had the privilege to visit the Wisconsin State Capitol on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  Dr. Jonathan Overby of Wisconsin Public Radio hosted the annual tribute and ceremony honoring Dr. King from the Capitol rotunda in Madison.

After completing service projects, the group traveled to standing-room-only celebration and watched from high in the balconies of the Capitol Rotunda.
