Edgewood Quarterback is National Guard Week 8 Player of the Week Nominee

Jack Dunn, who is playing quarterback for Edgewood High School this fall, turned in a record-setting game last week. Stats of 37 carries for 363 yards and 7 touchdowns is incredibly impressive for any player. For a quarterback to do it is unprecedented. In a 48-39 victory over Fort Atkinson that kept the team's playoff hopes alive, that performance turned in by Jack sets a new state record for most rushing yards in a single game by a quarterback, and his 7 touchdowns ties a state record for any player.

Jack was narrowly edged out of the fan vote-based selection for Player of the Week by Seth Wilson of Holmen.
